Our charitable aims evidences the vulnerabilities of the people we support, and how we embrace a multifaceted approach:
- THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY through supporting sustainable provision of affordable healthy food to people living in Kincardine & Mearns surrounding areas, primarily those with a low income.
- THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH by providing activities to improve physical and mental health and well-being of individuals and groups in the community through indoor and outdoor activities.
- ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION through the provision of classes, advice and information about food and nutrition, food growing, cooking skills and self-care.
- ADVANCEMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT and promotion of volunteering opportunities particularly for those who are isolated or marginalised.
- ADVANCEMENT OF ENVIROMENTAL PROTECTION by promoting the reduction of food waste and by raising public awareness of the adverse environmental impacts of waste.
