Havenite Practitioner Member fee – £120 (can be paid annually or quarterly)
Invoices will continue to be generated at the beginning of each month for the following month (for example, in the first week of June the July invoices are issued). These invoices are to be paid by the beginning of that month. Any changes to bookings must be made by the 25th of the previous month — for example, by 25 June your July dates must be confirmed for the July invoice.
As of August 2026, a retainer for fallow periods will be introduced for regular hires to allow them to maintain their usual session times. Any session times not used during these periods will be invoiced at 50% (for example, unused dates during the August summer holiday period).
A retainer system is simply a way of keeping regular session times protected for practitioners during quieter or fallow periods, without requiring full‑price payment for sessions that aren’t being used.
At The Haven, the retainer will work like this:
- Regular session times are held for you even if you’re not using them every week.
- Unused sessions during fallow periods (for example, school holidays or seasonal dips)
- will be invoiced at 50%, rather than the full hire rate.
- This ensures your slot remains yours, while also helping the organisation cover the basic costs of keeping the space available.
- If someone hires your regular (unused) summer sessions you will not be invoiced the 50% retainer amount for those times. If already invoiced for this you will be credited on the September invoice.
The aim is to strike a balance: supporting practitioners to maintain continuity and stability in their timetable, while also ensuring the organisation remains financially sustainable.
